At "The Maison du Parc national et de la vallée", what do we do?
The Maison du Parc national et de la vallée was built in 1982. Designed by architect Mr. Durancet, it presents an exceptional architectural dimension. This house offers a unique cultural experience with a performance and cinema hall, a media library and an exhibition hall located in a rural environment associated with an awareness space for nature protection with the Pyrenees National Park.
It is a cultural center, a unique place that offers shows, films, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, a media library, a game library, and also hosts socio-cultural associations for the local or passing population.
The place, open year-round, is supported by the municipality of Luz Saint Sauveur and the Pyrenees National Park. It offers a cultural season with around thirty shows per year, an art house cinema program with an average of eight screenings per week, a media library space, an exhibition hall and a nature reception area in connection with the National Park.
The House is committed to offering programming adapted to all audiences. It also works to support the approach of artists from the territory or elsewhere, by regularly hosting teams in residency. The House's activity is completed each year by numerous shows and events offered by partner associations and structures, which we always welcome with joy, as the House aims to be a place of life, encounters, exchanges and sharing!
Our artistic programming is supported by the Occitanie Region, the Hautes-Pyrénées Department and the municipality of Luz Saint Sauveur.

Circus theater
Circus theater At the foot of a tree, two big children with a disconcerting resemblance seek to plant themselves. Under the attentive gaze of a musician resembling a gardener, they grow and push each other away, cast shadows on each other and take root together. The fraternal relationship blossoms between complicity and rivalry. To the rhythm of the drums, they embark on their imaginary world. Ideas burst forth, apples rise, physical struggles are covered in earth, games multiply... sometimes to the point of overflowing. With humor, naivety and tenderness, these explorers fall into the world and unfurl their branches, filling the blank page with an irresistible quest for life.

Theatre, circus, equilibristics
A street performance combining theatre and circus images, in search of construction and balance. Their bricks are much bigger than the ones children play with, but no matter, to build, the important thing is to carefully follow the instructions. Or not. These three characters will discover that following the imposed model is not necessarily to everyone's taste and that their imagination can push them to explore new possibilities, to travel in their imagination and to set aside the assembly instructions.

The Seventh Valley
Guillaume develops an experimental practice of black and white focused on the territories he crosses, in particular the Pyrenees, and on their intimate resonance with his memory and his imagination. He publishes Terres obsidiennes in 2021 and then The Seventh Valley in 2026, still with Sur La Crête editions. At the age of seven, a puppy enclosure becomes a founding, luminous and carnal experience. Since 2020, this memory has been the starting point for a photographic work. The author makes round trips between the Loire, where he lives, and the Gaves valleys. These movements connect a present territory and a fantasized territory of childhood. The work explores resonances between places, ages and forms of presence. The images compose a poetic narrative, traversed by shifts between reality and imagination where the mountain and its memory remains the main point of attraction.
