Marie Rieudebat vous propose une conférence passionnante autour de la toponymie de la vallée de Barèges-Gavarnie. À travers les noms de lieux, de villages, de montagnes et de chemins, cette rencontre vous invite à découvrir l’histoire, la langue et les traditions qui façonnent l’identité de la vallée. Une plongée captivante dans le patrimoine local, où chaque nom raconte un fragment de mémoire et de culture pyrénéenne.

Conférence d'une bergère et autrice-illustratice
Méconnu et souvent idéalisé, le métier de berger fascine. Mais en quoi consiste-t-il réellement ? À travers cette rencontre, Florence Debove nous invite à découvrir les réalités de son métier et à partager une immersion dans la vie d’une bergère en estive, au cœur des Pyrénées. Bergère depuis 2012, mais aussi autrice et illustratrice, Florence Debove raconte son quotidien à travers ses ouvrages, ses photographies et ses dessins. Après Bergère, son premier récit, elle publie Sur tes pentes, un journal de bord dessiné qui relate une saison passée en estive. Si vous êtes curieux de découvrir en amont son travail, retrouvez ses deux ouvrages dans notre médiathèque ! Au fil de cette conférence, Florence Debove partagera son expérience de la montagne et de l’estive, loin des images parfois idéalisées du métier de berger. Elle évoquera aussi son rapport à l’écriture et au dessin, deux modes d’expression qu’elle pratique depuis l’enfance et qu’elle a choisi de faire dialoguer dans son travail.
