When Fred asks his ex-wife, Marguerite, to have their marriage annulled in the Church so that he can remarry there, she is delighted to see him rebuild his life. But what was supposed to be a simple formality turns out to be more complicated than expected and will lead them to Rome with their children and their new partners.
