During the summer period, the Maison offers cinema sessions under the stars. We invite you to the Verger de Luz-Saint-Sauveur to experience an exceptional cinema evening with the summit of the mountains silhouetted against the night sky as a backdrop. In this unusual setting, come and discover the dramatic comedy Shepherds by Sophie Deraspe. This evening is organized in partnership with the Pyrenees National Park; warden-monitors will supervise the evening to discuss and exchange ideas about their activities. To accompany this session, we advise you to have a picnic in the Parc de la Mairie de Luz-Saint-Sauveur before the gates of the Verger open for the session. In case of bad weather, the session is not canceled. It will be moved to our cinema room at the Maison du Parc national et de la vallée; we will inform you via a sign on site and on our social networks.

On a whim, Mathyas trades his life as an advertising executive in Montreal for that of a shepherd in Provence. He hoped to find peace, but discovers a grueling profession and farmers often at their wits' end. But when he meets Elise, who has also just quit everything, they are entrusted with a flock of 800 sheep and embark on a transhumance. Together, they will overcome the trials of the mountain and forge a new life.
